My client is a growing marketing agency within the crypto and iGaming space. We are looking for an SEO & Content Lead proficient in German. You’ll be responsible for executing tailored SEO strategies, overseeing content performance, and managing a team of freelance writers and translators to deliver culturally relevant, high-quality German content. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape and grow organic traffic in one of our key markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the SEO and content strategy for the German market, aligning with business goals and KPIs.
• Plan, create, and execute SEO-driven content roadmaps to grow organic traffic and revenue.
• Manage and hire freelance content editors and producers, ensuring timely delivery and top-tier quality.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of a German-language website, optimizing both individual pages and overall site structure for search performance.
• Conduct content audits and implement strategies to maximize ranking potential and content effectiveness.
• Monitor and report on performance metrics using industry tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Ensure all content is culturally appropriate and linguistically accurate for the German audience.
• Communicate clearly in English with internal teams, freelancers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align SEO and content efforts with broader business initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• 4+ years in a content-focused role with proven SEO success.
• Experience managing and scaling content teams, ideally across different languages or regions.
• Strong understanding of the content lifecycle—from strategy to execution.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and see projects through from start to finish.
• Fluent or highly proficient in German, with strong linguistic and cultural awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Supermetrics, Google Analytics, etc.
