Treasury Manager (Crypto)

Location: Cyprus

Salary: $4,000–$6,000 per month

My client, a rapidly growing cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a dynamic Treasury Manager to oversee critical financial operations, optimise liquidity management, and support the organisation’s growth in the fast-paced world of digital assets. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s treasury function while collaborating with a vibrant and multicultural team in Cyprus.

Responsibilities

•Manage integrations and balances with liquidity providers.

•Develop and implement treasury operations policies and procedures.

•Conduct daily group cryptocurrency asset management and forecasting activities.

•Monitor and manage the company’s daily liquidity position.

•Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly cash, cryptocurrency, and liquidity reports.

•Serve as the key relationship contact for liquidity providers (LPs) and cryptocurrency asset providers across the group.

•Support the development of new LPs and cryptocurrency asset provider relationships.

•Oversee group cryptocurrency positions, ensuring assets and liabilities are aligned.

•Manage risks related to treasury functions (crypto/liquidity management) based on market conditions.

•Collaborate with finance and other departments to meet regulatory crypto requirements (e.g., daily client asset and liability reporting, central bank/regulatory reporting).

•Interface with accounting teams regarding cryptocurrency asset transactions.

•Support daily reconciliations of client assets and liabilities, investigating discrepancies with relevant departments.

•Ensure regulatory compliance for cryptocurrency asset controls.

•Review journal entries and accruals related to interest expenses, crypto gains/losses, LP fees, earned client interest, and company revenue.

•Collaborate with the Dealing department on trades, balances, and pairs.

Qualifications

•Degree in Finance or a related field.

•Previous experience in treasury management within crypto exchange companies or a related sector.

•Advanced Excel skills.

•Strong teamworking abilities.

•Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to treasury-related issues.

•Ability to manage critical financial tasks and make decisions with CFO approval.

•Flexibility to work on public holidays, with compensation for additional hours.
