About the Client and the Role

•My client is an industry-leading venture capital and incubation fund specializing in Web3, blockchain, and token-generation events (TGEs).

•As the COO, you will play a central role in streamlining operations, optimizing portfolio management practices, and aligning strategies across business units to support the growth of high-potential Web3 projects.

•This role demands a blend of operational expertise and strategic foresight to support early-stage startups and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-evolving industry.

•You’ll oversee core business functions, from client onboarding and regulatory compliance to product lifecycle management, working alongside a talented executive team to guide strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Strategic Leadership: Lead and align strategies across business units, driving efficiency, scalability, and impact across the Web3 landscape.

•Operational Oversight: Design and implement operational processes to support product delivery, compliance, client onboarding, and post-launch scaling.

•Portfolio & Program Management: Oversee the management of a portfolio of Web3 projects, fostering program excellence and maintaining stakeholder alignment.

•Product Management: Provide guidance to product teams across tokenized and blockchain-based products, ensuring seamless launches and continuous improvements.

•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, marketing, and tech leaders to ensure cohesive execution of strategic goals.

•Financial Planning & Analysis: Collaborate with the CFO to track budgets, analyze performance metrics, and ensure financial goals align with growth objectives.

•Compliance and Regulatory Strategy: Lead compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to blockchain and token standards in alignment with regulatory requirements.

•Performance Optimization: Establish and monitor KPIs across teams to measure operational and portfolio effectiveness.

Who We’re Looking For

•Extensive Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a COO role within the Web3, cryptocurrency, or digital asset industry, with a robust background in high-level operational management.

•Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex portfolios, and align operational goals with strategic growth.

•Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, decentralized finance (DeFi), token standards, and Web3 infrastructure.

•Adaptability & Analytical Skills: Skilled in navigating rapidly changing environments and using KPIs and financial analysis tools to drive performance.

•Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional verbal and written skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
