Our client, a leading global content marketplace headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a highly motivated Content Acquisition Executive to join their dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA.

Our client is a one-stop-shop content marketplace for buying and selling the best of global film, TV, and sports rights. They hold rights to over 140,000 hours of diverse content across all languages, genres, formats, and production years. They work with major studios, independent producers, and production companies worldwide, offering content for SVOD, AVOD, linear, digital, FAST channels, connected TV, cable, over-the-air, and even the Metaverse!

About the Role

As a Content Acquisition Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding our client's content library. You will be responsible for:

Identifying and sourcing high-quality film, TV, and sports content for acquisition through Content

Building and fostering relationships with content rights holders

Negotiating and finalizing Content agreements that are beneficial to both parties

Staying up-to-date on industry trends in content acquisition and licensing

Meeting and exceeding acquisition targets

Who We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in content acquisition, rights clearance, or a related field

Proven track record of success in identifying and securing valuable content rights

Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals

Strong relationship-building abilities with a focus on building trust and rapport

Deep understanding of the global content marketplace and licensing models

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

A passion for film, TV, and sports content is a plus
