More about the client and the role:
- Our client specialises in algorithmic trading and financial services, with a reputation for pushing the boundaries of technology in the financial world headquartered in London, UK.
- Owning, managing, and profitably trading in the European power markets while implementing any relevant strategies.
- Innovating new ideas for trading tools and strategies and working with the analysis and development teams to implement them.
- Working as a part of our client’s operating trading team, to ensure markets are always covered
- Utilising self-starter capability while also working efficiently within a team environment
- Ensuring all power market regulations and requirements are upheld through good communication with the system operators
- Upholding and practising our client’s company cultural values
What we’re looking for?
- Excellent numerical and logical reasoning skills
- Ability to think clearly in critical situations
- Passion, resilience, and integrity
- A track record of excellence, both inside and outside of academics.
- Passion to learn and develop your trading skills
- A background and keen interest in financial markets, trading strategies, and market microstructure is a plus.
