- Crafting high-performance, multi-threaded backend systems using Rust, with proficiency in Python.
- Integrating backend systems with user-facing components, collaborating closely with front-end engineers.
- Writing and implementing unit tests using appropriate frameworks to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Integrating with CI/CD systems for streamlined development and deployment processes.
- Participating in code reviews, and offering constructive feedback to team members.
- Staying updated on emerging backend technologies and industry best practices.
- Assisting in mentoring junior team members, and creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years developing and architecting backend systems in Rust.
- Building highly reliable RESTful API systems.
- Developing robust websocket systems for client data.
- Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, Timestream, and DynamoDB.
- Developing high-performance, multi-threaded software and optimising code.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and Agile methodologies.
- Strong skills in Rust & Python.
- Previous experience with blockchain platforms, such as writing code for indexing.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana.
